HotTea Mamma Newborn Wonder Tea
Newborn Wonder is the perfect tea for any tired tea-lover or new mum. A blend of white peony tea and whole rosebuds. White tea is high in both caffeine and theanine. Whilst the caffeine level in a cup of Newborn Wonder is higher than a normal builders brew, the theanine gives it a slow release effect and a long, gentle boost.
As well as being higher in caffeine than black tea, White Peony white tea has also been shown to be high in anti-oxidants.
Rosebuds have been used for millennia to ease period cramps, and we've included them to bring a delicious aroma but also comfort, when you need it most.
We only use whole leaf, natural ingredients to ensure that you get the full flavour and goodness of the tea leaves and flowers. Our whole leaf, plastic free, biodegradable tea bags are plant based and release fewer tannins into a brew, ensuring it is isn’t bitter and hard to drink.

INGREDIENTS
White Peony White Tea - higher in caffeine than a normal cup of black tea, it has c. 90mg per cup (a standard 'builder's tea has c. 20 - 50mg per cup). But it's also very high in theanine, which is a relaxant and means that you get a slow release of caffeine - longer and more gentle than a coffee which quickly gives you c. 120mg of caffeine in one hit. So you won't have any heart palpitations or shaky hands - just a long, slow boost when you need it.
Rose Buds - have been used in the Middle East for thousands of years to support menstrual cramping and ease stress. They're great post labour, or throughout the month if you have any PMS.

We don’t recommend adding milk or sugar, but follow your cravings and personal taste!
WHAT'S INSIDE THE BOX?
- Each box of Newborn Wonder tea contains 15 whole leaf tea bags.
- Each bag is plastic free, made from cornstarch and can be composted in your food bin.
- Even the inner bag which holds them is biodegradable - it's made from wood pulp! Put it in your food compost bin too.
- The box itself is recyclable - you could compost it, but it's better to recycle.
HOW BEST TO MAKE A CUP...
- Don't use freshly boiled water! 80 degrees is best...let your kettle sit with the lid open for 5 minutes before you use it.
- Use 1 whole leaf tea bag per 300ml cup, and brew for 3-5 minutes
-Take the tea bag out of your mug and keep it by the kettle to re-brew. You can get 2-3 cups from one tea bag if you re-brew.
